Hi. The SMIC Bulletin Board is a forum for users to discuss and compare surface-water and water-quality models as well as this model information clearinghouse. It is viewed as a way to enhance communication among modelers and help them solve problems. Please feel free to expound on the virtues of your favorite model or tactfully point out the deficiencies of your least favorite model.

Other users will be able to read your messages, and you will be able to read theirs. If you post a message, you have the option of being notified by email when someone posts a response to your message. You also have the option of deleting a message you create, provided that you entered a password with that message before it was posted.

The message index may be filtered with author and keyword searches as well as the date of the post. You can personalize the look of the index by choosing among four different display methods. For these options, follow the link from the message index to "Search/Personalize Display."

The bulletin board may be entered either with or without a search term. Each of the links to this bulletin board from the Clearinghouse model home pages automatically adds a search term for that model, thus allowing you to filter the messages for only those that mention the model of interest.

Finally, as administrator of this bulletin board, I reserve the right to edit or delete any comments that are judged to be inappropriate or excessively inflammatory.
